Software Assistant - Semler Mobility in Gladsaxe

Job ID:  4606
Location:

Søborg, DK, 2860

Cars are no longer just mechanical machines, they are computers on wheels. Are you curious about technology and confident working with IT systems? Join our new workshop team and help ensure that some of the most advanced vehicles on the market are always running the latest software.

What will you be doing?
As a Software Assistant, you will become part of our technical workshop and vehicle preparation setup. Your primary responsibility will be to perform software updates on our vehicles and ensure that all systems are up to date and functioning correctly.

Your responsibilities will include:
•    Updating software and vehicle systems

•    Connecting vehicles to our diagnostic and software platforms
•    Verifying that software updates have been completed successfully
•    Monitoring and tracking the status of the vehicles you work on

•    Identifying and documenting any irregularities or issues
•    Informing the team if a vehicle requires additional follow-up
•    Working closely with colleagues in small teams of 2 to 4 people

You will not have direct customer contact. Your focus will be on the vehicles, the technology, and ensuring the job is completed accurately.

The experience you gain in this role can also provide a strong foundation for a future career in IT, technology, automotive, or engineering.

You might be the right fit if...
You are naturally curious about how technology works. Perhaps you have an interest in cars, computers, gaming, electronics, or IT. You may be a student looking for a technical part-time job, or perhaps you are looking for an opportunity to enter the automotive industry and gain hands-on experience beyond a traditional office environment.

You do not need to be a mechanic or have a formal technical education. What matters most is your curiosity about technology, your general IT skills, and your willingness to learn. We place greater value on your technical mindset and enthusiasm than on your CV.

It would be an advantage if you:
•    Have a good technical understanding and learn new systems quickly
•    Are comfortable working with computers and digital tools

•    Work in a structured and methodical manner
•    Have a strong attention to detail
•    Take responsibility for completing tasks to a high standard

•    Enjoy working as part of a team

We will help you get off to a great start
Previous experience in the automotive industry is not required. We will teach you everything you need to know.

Before you begin working independently with the vehicles, you will complete two days of focused training, where you will learn about our systems, processes, and technology.
Afterwards, you will become part of a supportive team where experienced colleagues are always nearby to help and guide you.

Working Hours
Working hours will fall between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with your specific schedule agreed upon separately.

This position may therefore be particularly interesting if you are currently studying and looking for a job alongside your education.
